Hi there! I’m Ambar.

I’ve been practicing yoga with my daughter June since she was just 2 months old. After struggling with anxiety for most of my life, I knew that I wanted to teach my daughter ways to manage her emotions from an early age. Yoga has played a major role in helping me decrease stress and live a happy & positive life and I knew that I wanted to share its gifts with my little one.

Yoga has become a part of our daily lives and now that June is 6 years old, I’m seeing that it is already helping her – she naturally does certain breathing exercises when she’s upset and lets off steam with her yoga poses when she’s feeling high energy. Yoga has helped us connect and bond in a special way and helps us both feel happy and calm!

 

Here’s a little bit more about me:

I am a wife, mama, and yogini. I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years as a way of managing stress and healing a lifelong battle with anxiety and depression. After becoming a mom in 2015 and having a rocky start to motherhood, I turned to mommy and me yoga as a way to reconnect with my postpartum body and squeeze in self care while still caring for my baby girl. It quickly became part of our daily routine.

 

Prior to becoming a mom, I completed my children’s yoga teacher training in 2013 while working in social services providing care management for children with emotional and behavioral challenges. In my work, I saw the importance of teaching our children healthy ways to cope with their feelings and manage their emotions. I also saw how vital it is for parents to model these skills for their children.

 

Since becoming a mother myself, I’ve witnessed firsthand how my daughter feeds off of my energy. This has reinforced my belief that it is extremely important for me to take good care of myself and manage my own feelings in healthy ways so that I can then teach her to do the same. Yoga has been such a gift for us and has provided us a way to connect and bond while learning to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit.

I want to share all of this with other mothers and children, which is why I created the Yoga With Littles Challenge and Yoga With Littles Online Program!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I pay for this? Can’t I just watch YouTube videos for free?

You can definitely watch free YouTube videos, however, chances are they won’t give you all of the information that’s provided in this course. I’ve combined my education in children’s yoga teacher training with my own research and experience from practicing yoga with my daughter for the last 6 years (from ages 2 months – 6+). While there are a lot of free videos on children’s yoga and adult yoga out there, I can confidently say that this is the most extensive training on how to build your own mommy & me yoga practice, which often looks very different from a typical adult class or children’s class.

I’m pregnant! Can I still participate in this course?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! YES, you can still participate! This program is designed to work with you through pregnancy. Most of the postures and exercises can be done throughout pregnancy and there are outlined pregnancy modifications listed where necessary.

How long will I have access to the course?

Once you purchase the course, you will have unlimited access to the course content and bonuses. 

Is my child too young (or too old) for this program?
Yoga With Littles is designed with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and young children in mind. This program is designed to grow with your child. It’s never too early – or too late – to start healthy habits!
